Psychotherapist Belleruth Naparstek is a nationally recognized pioneer in the field of guided imagery and intuition. She is also the creator of the popular, Time Warner, twenty-title Health Journeys guided imagery audio tape series, which has sold nearly 700,000 copies.
Naparstek received her master's degree in clinical social work in 1967 from The University of Chicago, and for years taught graduate students at Case Western Reserve University. She also enjoyed a brief stint in musical comedy, including some time with the well known Second City improvisational troupe in Chicago.
